About Pegassi

Pegassi is the vibrant house music project of Sam Huybrecht, a talented producer and DJ hailing from Antwerp, Belgium. Emerging onto the scene with a distinctive sound, Pegassi gained widespread recognition through the 2019 breakthrough single "L.A. Kitty," released on DJ Licious' acclaimed SHOMI label. This infectious track quickly caught the ear of prominent DJs such as Fisher, who prominently featured it on major festival stages including EDC Las Vegas and Tomorrowland.

Building on this momentum, Pegassi amassed over half a million Spotify streams and garnered support from industry heavyweights like Fisher, Chris Lake, and Jack Back. His affiliation with Kurious, one of Belgium’s top artist and event agencies, has facilitated performances at renowned European festivals such as Elrow, Studay, The Day Before Tomorrow, and Kingsday. Though his initial bookings for Tomorrowland 2020 were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pegassi made a strong comeback by playing both weekends at the festival’s 2021 edition.

With a rapidly growing fan base and increasing international recognition, Pegassi stands as a promising figure in the contemporary electronic music landscape. His engaging house productions and dynamic DJ sets continue to captivate audiences, marking him as a driving force in shaping the future of the genre.
