Thursday, formed in 1998 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, stands as a pioneering force in the post-hardcore and alternative music scenes. Over more than a decade, the band shaped the genre with six influential albums released between 1999 and 2011, most notably "Full Collapse" (2001) and "War All The Time" (2003). These records not only garnered critical acclaim but also left a lasting impact on alternative music worldwide, helping to define a distinctive, dynamic sound that blends intensity with melodic depth.

Thursday’s versatility shines through their extensive touring history and collaborations. Frontman Geoff Rickly played a key role behind the scenes, producing the debut album of My Chemical Romance, further highlighting their influence beyond their own discography. The band has shared stages with an eclectic mix of artists ranging from The Gaslight Anthem and Portugal. The Man to more diverse acts like Hatebreed and The Cure, showcasing their ability to transcend genre boundaries and appeal to broad audiences.

Currently, Thursday remains active, performing intimate club shows with Many Eyes and Tim Kasher while preparing for larger tours, including European dates and major festivals such as the When We Were Young Festival and the Is For Lovers tour alongside Hawthorne Heights. Following their standalone single "Application For Release From the Dream," the band recently released "White Bikes" and continues to develop new material, signaling a vibrant future for this iconic band in alternative music history.
