About Бумбокс

Formed in Kyiv in 2004, Бумбокс (BoomBox) has become a cornerstone of Ukraine’s contemporary music scene. Founded by lead vocalist and songwriter Andriy Khlyvnyuk alongside guitarist Andriy "Fly" Samoylo, the band carved a unique niche by blending rock, reggae, hip-hop, and electronic elements. This distinctive fusion, paired with socially conscious lyrics primarily in Ukrainian, resonated deeply with audiences across Eastern Europe.

Бумбокс’s breakthrough came with their debut album, which pioneered the integration of reggae rhythms into Ukrainian rock. Subsequent albums such as "Family Business" (2007) and "Sweet Moment" (2010) further showcased their musical versatility and lyrical depth. Their songs often explore personal stories and contemporary social issues, echoing the cultural and political landscape of Ukraine.

Renowned for their energetic live performances, Бумбокс has garnered critical acclaim, multiple national awards, and a loyal fanbase.
