About Mau Maioli

Mau Maioli is a versatile and influential DJ and producer known for his unique fusion of post-punk melancholy, indie vibes, synthwave pulse, and house rhythms. Drawing inspiration from the 1980s and 1990s, his sound bridges emotive depth with infectious dancefloor energy, creating captivating electronic music that feels both nostalgic and contemporary. His sharp musical instincts and broad stylistic range have earned him releases on renowned labels such as Concreta Sala (USA), Warung Recordings, Young Society Records (Germany), Core Records—which featured him alongside Eli Iwasa at Tomorrowland—Disco Halal, Melopee, Cardume, and Prototype, the latter of which saw a remix from Renato Cohen.

Beyond his production talents, Mau Maioli plays a pivotal role in shaping the electronic scene as a resident DJ at Levels Sunset and Oben Beer. He is also the co-founder of the influential label and party Beat On Me, and a co-creator of Levels Rec. In addition, he serves as A&R for Heels of Love, where he supports emerging artists like Eli Iwasa and Pri Prestes.
