About Dirty Sound Magnet

Swiss rock trio Dirty Sound Magnet has carved out a distinct place in contemporary psychedelic rock with their electrifying fusion of vintage blues-rock, progressive complexity, and heavy funk grooves. Formed as teenagers in Fribourg, Switzerland, the band consists of guitarist and vocalist Stavros Dzodzos, bassist Marco Mottolini, and drummer Maxime Cosandey. Their sound pays homage to classic rock giants like Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, and The Doors while embracing modern influences such as Tame Impala, King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, and Queens of the Stone Age, creating a vibrant and innovative sonic landscape.

With a relentless "no Plan B" attitude, Dirty Sound Magnet has toured extensively across Europe, the UK, and Latin America, performing over 800 shows and earning acclaim at major festivals including Hellfest, Fusion, Resurrection Fest, and Burg Herzberg. Their live performances are renowned for hypnotic intensity and technical prowess, captivating diverse audiences and steadily growing their fanbase.

After the critical success of their 2022 album "DSM-III," the band pushed creative boundaries with 2023’s "Dreaming In Dystopia," hailed as a modern psychedelic masterpiece. Continuing their evolution, their fifth studio album "Me and My Shadow" (2026) showcases a band at the height of their artistic and performance powers. Through fierce DIY ethics and fearless experimentation, Dirty Sound Magnet remains a formidable and inspiring force in today’s underground rock scene.
