About Ricardo Montaner

Ricardo Montaner is a distinguished Latin singer-songwriter whose heartfelt ballads and melodic richness have captivated millions across the Spanish-speaking world. Born in Argentina and later naturalized in Venezuela, Montaner has an extensive catalog of over 300 songs, including timeless hits such as "La cima del cielo," "Tan enamorados," "Me va a extrañar," "Bésame," and "Déjame llorar." His music blends emotional lyricism with powerful melodies, a combination that has earned him numerous accolades including multiple Latin Grammy Awards and a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Montaner’s rise to international acclaim is marked by milestones that showcase his enduring influence in Latin music. On November 28, 2020, he made history as the first Latin artist to reach audiences on six continents simultaneously through a groundbreaking virtual concert from Altos de Chavón in the Dominican Republic, drawing over half a million viewers worldwide. Later that year, he released the global hit "Amén" under his independent label Hecho a Mano, which garnered more than 180 million views on YouTube.

Building on this momentum, Montaner collaborated with the acclaimed Dominican singer Juan Luis Guerra on the 2021 single "Dios así lo quiso." This moving duet quickly climbed Latin American radio charts and surpassed 25 million views online, further cementing Montaner’s legacy. Beyond his musical talent, Ricardo Montaner’s genuine gratitude toward his faith and fans continues to resonate deeply, securing his place as a beloved figure in contemporary Latin music.
