About June Holland

June Holland is a soulful singer-songwriter hailing from a small town just south of Manchester, quickly rising as one of the most compelling new voices in the North West music scene. Deeply influenced by legends such as Stevie Wonder and Etta James, June blends bluesy, heartfelt vocals with an acoustic storytelling style reminiscent of Paolo Nutini. Her music seamlessly crosses genres, drawing from Indie Folk, Jazz, Soul, Blues, and Americana to evoke a nostalgic yet fresh sound.

After releasing her debut single in June 2023, June Holland took a hands-on approach by self-producing nine additional tracks, highlighting her dedication to authenticity and artistic control. Throughout 2024, she gained recognition through live performances across northern England, notably supporting Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter Eddi Reader MBE at Nantwich Roots Festival and Grammy-winning guitarist Bernard Butler at the Words & Music Festival. Known for intimate, emotionally charged shows—often just her and a guitar—June’s warm, distinctive voice captivates audiences with its genuine and relatable quality.

With a confirmed slot at Truck Festival 2025, June Holland is poised to expand her reach further, continuing to deliver music that feels both refreshingly new and comfortingly familiar. Her evolving career marks her as a promising figure in contemporary British music.
