About Jungle

Jungle is a British electronic music duo hailing from Shepherd's Bush, London, formed in 2013 by childhood friends Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland. Renowned for their innovative fusion of electronic beats, funk grooves, and soulful melodies, Jungle has carved out a distinctive niche within the modern funk and nu-disco scene. Their sound artfully blends retro funk influences with contemporary electronic rhythms, creating lush, groove-driven tracks that have captivated listeners worldwide.

The duo burst into the spotlight with their critically acclaimed debut album, "Jungle" (2014), featuring standout singles like "Busy Earnin’" that propelled them to international recognition. Known for their enigmatic visual style—often showcasing anonymous performers in vibrant, cinematic music videos—Jungle complements their immersive sound with striking aesthetics. They have also been praised for their energetic live performances, sometimes expanding their lineup beyond the core duo to include additional musicians.

Over the years, Jungle has continued to evolve, releasing albums such as "For Ever" (2018) and the latest "Volcano" (2023), each showcasing their ongoing artistic growth and willingness to push creative boundaries. Supported by notable labels like XL Recordings and AWAL, the band’s work has earned them a loyal global fanbase and prestigious accolades, including a Brit Award. Jungle’s ability to bridge generations through their seamless blend of funk, soul, and electronic music firmly establishes them as influential figures within contemporary British music.
