About The Sounds

The Sounds are a Swedish indie rock band originating from Helsingborg in the late 1990s. Founded by charismatic vocalist Maja Ivarsson and guitarist Felix Rodriguez, the band quickly crafted a distinctive sound that fuses punk energy, new wave sensibilities, and garage rock grit. Their breakthrough arrived with the 2002 debut album "Living in America," which featured catchy anthems like "Living in America" and "Hit Me!"
