About Monsieur Periné

Monsieur Periné is a dynamic Colombian duo consisting of Catalina García and Santiago Prieto, renowned for their unique fusion of pop, jazz, and swing with traditional Latin American rhythms such as cumbia, salsa, and bolero. Since bursting onto the scene with their debut album *Hecho a Mano* (2012), Monsieur Periné has steadily built an impressive discography including *Caja de Música* (2015), *Encanto Tropical* (2018), and their latest release *Bolero Apocalíptico* (2023), which earned them the Latin GRAMMY® for Best Alternative Album.

Their breakthrough came in 2015 when they won the Latin GRAMMY® for Best New Artist, quickly establishing themselves as a fresh, vibrant voice in Latin music. Monsieur Periné has continued to gain international acclaim with hits like “Nuestra Canción,” which not only topped the TikTok U.S. Chart and Spotify Global Viral Chart but also amassed over 2 billion views worldwide. Another standout track, “Bailar Contigo” from *Encanto Tropical* (2018), surpassed 120 million streams, further showcasing their widespread appeal.

Celebrated for their lively performances, Monsieur Periné has graced major music festivals such as Lollapalooza (in Chicago and Chile), Rock in Río, Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, and Bogotá’s Estéreo Picnic. Looking ahead, they are teasing new singles like “Aguaráchate” and “Grande,” building anticipation for an upcoming 2026 album that promises to explore happiness through sound. With a rich blend of cultural authenticity and contemporary flair, Monsieur Periné continues to captivate audiences around the globe, solidifying their legacy in modern Latin music.
