That Mexican OT is a dynamic rap artist hailing from Bay City, Texas, who has rapidly risen to prominence in the hip-hop scene. At just 25 years old, he gained national recognition with his breakthrough single "Johnny Dang" (2023), a collaboration featuring Houston rap veteran Paul Wall. The track pays tribute to the legendary Texas jeweler Johnny Dang and achieved RIAA Gold certification after charting on the Billboard Hot 100 for several weeks.

Building on the success of his debut album *Lonestar Luchador* (2023), That Mexican OT deepened his artistic vision with the mixtape *Texas Technician*. This project embraces the slow, haunting production style emblematic of Texas rap, reflecting both his personal roots and the state’s enduring musical legacy.
