About Eiffel

Eiffel is a French rock band that originated in Bordeaux in 1998, founded by siblings Romain and Estelle Humeau. From the outset, the band crafted a distinctive sound that blended melodic rock with thoughtful, poignant lyrics, quickly capturing the attention of the French music scene. Their breakthrough came with the 1999 EP "L'Affaire," which opened the door to a notable collaboration: producer Bertrand Burgalat invited Eiffel to serve as the backing band for acclaimed French writer Michel Houellebecq’s experimental music project that same year.

Building on this early momentum, Eiffel released their debut album "L'Abricotine" in 2001, followed by "Le Quart d'Heure des Ahuris" in 2002, both of which established them firmly within French alternative rock. After a brief hiatus during which Romain Humeau explored solo work, the band returned revitalized with the 2006 EP "Ma Part d'Ombre" and the well-received album "Tandoori" (2007).

Eiffel continued to evolve over the years, offering a steady stream of critically acclaimed albums, including "À Tout Moment" (2009), "Foule Monstre" (2012), and their latest, "Stupor Machine" (2019). Renowned for their dynamic live performances and emotionally charged songwriting, Eiffel remains a vital force in French rock, celebrated for their ability to innovate while staying true to their roots.
