About Valentino

Valentino, born on July 12, 1980, in Puerto Rico, is a prominent figure in Latin urban music with a career spanning over two decades. He first rose to fame as part of the influential duo Magnate y Valentino, formed in 1998, which earned widespread acclaim with hits like "Dile a Ella," "Ya lo Sé," and "Si Te Acuerdas de Mí." This early success laid the foundation for Valentino’s transition to a solo artist in 2013, debuting with the heartfelt single "No Llores Más," featuring J Alvarez. The track gained further traction through a remix that included Nicky Jam and Ñejo, signaling Valentino’s growing presence in the reggaeton and Latin trap scenes.

Valentino has established a loyal fanbase across the Americas, performing extensively in the United States, Chile, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, and Colombia. His solo repertoire boasts energetic tracks such as "La Noche," "Loco," and "Bésame," the latter featuring rising star Manuel Turizo. A career highlight came with the 2018 viral hit "Tu y Yo," a collaboration with Nicky Jam and Justin Quiles that amassed over 79 million streams and inspired more than 700,000 TikTok videos. In 2019, Valentino further solidified his solo success with "Cosita," teaming up with Sech, Lenny Tavarez, and Dalex, a single streamed millions of times worldwide.

Continuing to evolve, Valentino recently released "Hola," featuring Rauw Alejandro and Darell, and is actively working on new music. His dynamic blend of reggaeton and urban sounds not only honors his roots but also keeps him at the forefront of Latin music’s vibrant landscape.
