About Speaking in Tongues

Speaking in Tongues is a melodic hardcore band emerging from Uniontown, Pennsylvania, a small town southeast of Pittsburgh. Known for their fierce and energetic blend of heavy music, the band skillfully fuses elements of metalcore, nu-metal, and deathcore to craft a sound that is both intense and melodic. They first captured attention in 2020 with their debut EP, "Rebirth," which introduced fans to their raw energy and complex musicianship across all major streaming platforms.

Following a lineup refinement that sharpened their creative focus, Speaking in Tongues returned with their sophomore EP, "Defy" (2020), showcasing a more mature and cohesive sonic identity. This release highlights their dedication to pushing the boundaries of the hardcore genre while maintaining an aggressive yet melodic core. Throughout their evolving career, the band has steadily built momentum, earning recognition for powerful live performances and an uncompromising approach to modern metallic hardcore.

Rooted in Pennsylvania’s underground scene, Speaking in Tongues continues to expand their reach, delivering authentic and visceral experiences that resonate deeply with fans of contemporary heavy music. With each new project, they solidify their place as a dynamic force within the melodic hardcore landscape.
