About Lía Kali

Lía Kali, a dynamic artist from Barcelona, first discovered her passion for music in her childhood home. By the age of 16, she was deeply immersed in Barcelona’s vibrant jam session scene, cycling around the city to blend genres like reggae, jazz, soul, and rap. These formative experiences helped her build strong connections within the local music community and sharpen her performance skills, notably through projects such as an Amy Winehouse tribute that highlighted her growing stage presence.

Her breakthrough came during the pandemic when Lía Kali shifted focus from interpreting others’ songs to writing her own. This personal songwriting journey became a vital outlet for healing and self-expression, resulting in a string of viral singles released in 2022. These tracks set the stage for her debut album, "Contra Todo Pronóstico" (2023), a cathartic collection exploring themes of struggle, resilience, and daily hardships. The album garnered millions of streams and widespread acclaim, resonating with an international audience.

Following nearly two years of extensive touring across Spain and beyond—including Colombia, Mexico, New York’s Central Park and LAMC festival, France, Germany, and Portugal—Lía Kali captivated crowds at major festivals like Viña Rock, Mar de Músicas, and Cruilla, along with numerous sold-out shows in Spain’s key cities. As 2025 approaches, she is poised to release her next album, "Kaelis," a project that marks an evolution from personal catharsis to a shared gift for her global fanbase. With her distinctive urban sound and powerful storytelling, Lía Kali continues to be a compelling and influential voice in contemporary music.
