About The Texas Tenors

The Texas Tenors, formed in 2009, are a dynamic vocal trio known for their unique blend of country, pop, and classical music. Comprising JC Fisher, Marcus Collins, and John Hagen, each member brings a diverse musical background that enriches their sound. Fisher is a classically trained vocalist with a Master’s degree from Wichita State University; Collins offers a pop and musical theater flair with extensive TV and stage experience; while Hagen is an accomplished operatic tenor with a history of performances at leading opera companies nationwide.

The group rose to national fame after securing fourth place on the 2009 season of *America’s Got Talent*, which launched their career and set the stage for widespread touring across the United States, United Kingdom, and China. Their debut album, initially self-titled and later reissued as *Country Roots: Classical Sound* (2011), showcased this genre-crossing style. The Texas Tenors solidified their crossover appeal with the 2013 PBS special *You Should Dream*, earning three Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards. Their 2017 album *Rise* debuted at number one on the Classical Albums chart and featured a standout collaboration with Bill Medley on the classic "You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’." Subsequent releases such as *A Collection of Broadway & American Classics* (2018) and *Outside the Lines* (2021) have maintained their momentum. Known for breathtaking harmonies supported by orchestral arrangements, The Texas Tenors continue to captivate audiences worldwide and remain a staple on shows like *Larry’s Country Diner*, securing their place as one of modern music’s most versatile ensembles.
