About Cult Fiction

Cult Fiction, a hardcore band rooted in Rochester, New York, has carved a distinctive niche by fusing the raw intensity of modern hardcore with the rebellious energy of classic rock ‘n’ roll. Their sound stands out for its noisy, aggressive riffs paired with unexpectedly bouncy rhythms, creating a relentless yet infectious momentum that defies traditional genre boundaries. Cult Fiction’s music channels the confrontational power of hardcore punk, while seamlessly incorporating the swagger and groove of rock’s golden era, resulting in tracks that hit hard without sacrificing catchiness.

Known for their electrifying live performances, Cult Fiction captures the vibrant DIY spirit of their hometown’s underground scene, delivering shows that are both powerful and dynamic. Their approach balances abrasive sonic assaults with just enough melody and spirited bounce to keep listeners fully engaged. This blend of intensity and authenticity has earned them a notable reputation within the contemporary hardcore landscape. Cult Fiction’s ability to merge ferocious aggression with undeniable groove positions them as a compelling force, appealing to fans who crave music that is as passionately energetic as it is irresistibly stirring.
