About The Dunwells

The Dunwells are a Leeds-based indie-folk-pop band known for their soulful harmonies, evocative melodies, and heartfelt songwriting. Formed in 2009 and led by brothers Joe and David Dunwell, the group quickly gained international attention with their debut album, *Blind Sighted Faith* (2012), which was widely praised for its emotional depth and dynamic sound. Over the years, they have released a total of five studio albums, including notable works like *Light Up the Sky*, *Something in the Water*, and the self-produced *Tell Me What You Want* (2022). This latest release, recorded in their own studio and mixed by industry veterans Tim Palmer and Chuy Flores, stands out as their most intimate and creative project to date.

Throughout their career, The Dunwells have demonstrated remarkable versatility across their discography, with hit singles that blend folk, pop, and rock elements. Their energetic live performances have taken them across the UK, Europe, and the United States, supporting prominent artists such as Mumford & Sons, Elbow, Tom Jones, and Scouting for Girls. Beyond performing, they have contributed as songwriters for other artists and established a Songwriters Academy dedicated to nurturing emerging talent. The band has also expanded their artistic reach through podcasts, a musical, and innovative virtual concerts. Their evolving sound continues to captivate a loyal global audience, exemplified by recent projects like the dance remix EP of “Summertime” (2023), reflecting The Dunwells’ enduring presence in the contemporary folk-rock scene.
