About Jok'Air

Melvin Félix, known professionally as Jok'Air, is a celebrated French hip-hop artist who began rapping during his teenage years in Paris. His musical journey took root in 2007 when he joined the influential rap collective MZ. Over nearly a decade with the group, Jok'Air contributed to an impressive output of six mixtapes and two studio albums before the group parted ways in 2016.

Launching a solo career, Jok'Air quickly made his mark with the 2017 EP "Big Daddy Jok" and the mixtapes "I'm Big Daddy" and "Jok'Poiolo." His distinctive style and lyrical prowess culminated in his first studio album, "Jok'Rambo" (2018), which set the stage for greater success. The momentum continued with his sophomore album, "Jok'Travolta" (2019), which notably climbed to number five on the French Albums Chart. This album features the standout single "Comme tu Es," a collaboration with rapper Alonzo, and highlights Jok'Air's wide-ranging partnerships with artists such as Chich, R.O.C. Gang, Mallory, Laylow, Suky, Chilia, Yseult, Sadek, and La Dictatrice.

Jok'Air’s dynamic presence extended beyond recording studios to live performances, with a nationwide tour throughout 2019 covering key French cities including Paris, Lille, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Nancy, and Metz. Through his evolving discography and energetic shows, Jok'Air continues to solidify his standing as a prominent figure in contemporary French hip-hop.
