Christina Rosenvinge, born in Madrid in 1964, is a trailblazing figure in Spanish music, known for her remarkable evolution from teenage pop sensation to a respected icon of independent and alternative songwriting. Emerging during the influential Movida Madrileña cultural movement, she launched her solo career in 1991 and has since consistently pushed musical boundaries, blending diverse styles with profound lyricism.

Over a career spanning more than three decades, Rosenvinge has crafted a distinct voice characterized by artistic reinvention and emotional depth. Her landmark albums, such as "Tu labio superior" (2008) and especially "La Joven Dolores" (2011), solidified her legacy in Spanish alternative music. Subsequent works like the introspective "Lo Nuestro" (2015) revealed darker, more contemplative themes, while "Un hombre Rubio" (2018) explored male emotional resilience from multiple narrative perspectives.

Rosenvinge’s collaborative spirit has enriched her sound through partnerships with international artists including Lee Ranaldo, Steve Shelley, Benjamin Biolay, and Georgia Hubley. Her 2023 release, "Los Versos Sáficos," stands out as a multidisciplinary project, featuring reimagined theatrical compositions inspired by Sapphic themes, accompanied by a book showcasing her lyrics and exclusive texts alongside evocative photography by Pablo Zamora.
