About BLANCO

BLANCO, born Riccardo Fabbriconi in 2003 in Brescia, Italy, has swiftly risen to prominence as one of the freshest and most dynamic voices in contemporary Italian music. Initially discovered by Eclectic Music, he signed with Island Records under Universal Music, becoming one of their youngest breakthrough artists. BLANCO’s musical journey began almost serendipitously when he wrote his first song as a simple, heartfelt experiment, revealing an innate talent for songwriting that would soon captivate audiences.

His artistry is marked by a compelling duality: the raw, impulsive energy of youth intertwines seamlessly with deep introspection and emotional sensitivity. This contrast is reflected in a sound that boldly merges aggressive punk influences with tender, melodic compositions. BLANCO’s distinctive voice and unfiltered lyricism create a powerful, authentic expression that defies easy genre classification. His music communicates with fierce honesty and a spontaneous flow of consciousness, resonating strongly with a new generation seeking genuine emotional connection.

A defining moment in BLANCO’s rapid ascent was his victory at the prestigious Sanremo Music Festival, which solidified his place as a pivotal figure in modern Italian music. Through fearless experimentation and genre-blending, BLANCO continues to push musical boundaries, crafting a fearless and original artistic identity that promises enduring influence.
