About Alyssa Jinks

London-based singer-songwriter Alyssa Jinks has emerged as a captivating presence in the alternative folk scene with her debut EP, "To Keep You Company" (2023). Blending ethereal, dark-drone textures with the organic warmth of traditional folk, Alyssa crafts haunting yet profoundly human soundscapes. Her music reflects a deep commitment to raw honesty and emotional storytelling, drawing inspiration from influential artists such as Portishead, Angel Olsen, and John Martyn.

Alyssa’s vocal delivery is a defining feature—flawlessly shifting from tender intimacy to cinematic intensity, she creates a quiet power that commands attention without overwhelming the listener. Each track on the EP invites audiences into a richly personal world, where vulnerability meets atmospheric depth. This unique combination has quickly established Alyssa Jinks as a compelling new voice in modern folk music.

With "To Keep You Company," Alyssa Jinks not only showcases her talent for weaving narrative richness into her songs but also carves out her place among the most evocative and emotionally resonant artists in the genre. Her work continues to resonate with listeners, offering a listening experience that lingers long after the final note.
