About DJ Scheme

DJ Scheme, born Gabriel Guerra in Palm Beach, Florida in 1997, has risen from South Florida’s vibrant music scene to become a defining producer and artist in contemporary hip-hop. Initially drawn to various musical instruments, Guerra’s creative path took a decisive turn toward music production after forming a connection with fellow Floridian rapper Wifisfuneral around 2014. This collaboration opened doors to working with prominent rising talents such as Kid Trunks, Ski Mask the Slump God, Craig Xen, and notably, the late XXXTentacion, for whom DJ Scheme crafted multiple hit productions that helped shape the sound of a new generation.

While gaining recognition behind the scenes, DJ Scheme transitioned into a solo artist with the release of his *Preseason* EP (2019), a project spotlighting collaborations with Lil Yachty, Ski Mask the Slump God, and Danny Towers. Building on this momentum, his 2020 debut album *Family* expanded his artistic vision across 17 tracks, featuring an impressive lineup including Cordae, Ty Dolla $ign, and Skrillex. The album’s impact was further amplified by a deluxe edition released in 2021, which introduced "Buck 50," a heartfelt posthumous collaboration with Juice WRLD.

Through his sharp production skills and strategic collaborations, DJ Scheme has solidified his influential role in hip-hop, seamlessly blending his behind-the-scenes expertise with compelling solo artistry. His work continues to resonate, cementing his status as a key figure within and beyond the South Florida music community.
