About Dasha Rush

Dasha Rush is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary sound artist known for her pioneering contributions to electronic music. Originally from Russia and now holding French citizenship, she has carved a distinctive niche by blending richly layered techno with experimental soundscapes. Her music draws profound inspiration from astrophysics, extreme natural phenomena, and the intricacies of human psychology, resulting in compositions that resonate both intellectually and emotionally.

Central to Rush’s artistry is her commitment to merging sound with visual and performance art. Through her own label, Fullpanda Records, and its avant-garde sub-label Hunger to Create, she frequently releases works that challenge conventional boundaries between technology and human expression. Additionally, her music has been featured on respected electronic labels such as Sonic Groove and Raster Noton, underscoring her status within the global experimental music community.

Dasha Rush’s sonic universe is characterized by dense, immersive textures where machines emerge as protagonists in a form of neo-romanticism. This approach elevates electronic sounds beyond mere instrumentation, weaving together dancefloor energy with conceptual depth. Her extensive international touring further cements her reputation as a forward-thinking artist who consistently pushes the limits of digital culture and contemporary sound art. Through bold innovation and multidisciplinary exploration, Dasha Rush remains an influential figure shaping the future of electronic music.
