About Tones and I

Tones and I is an Australian singer-songwriter and producer who rose from busking on the Mornington Peninsula to global fame with her 2019 breakthrough single, "Dance Monkey." This infectious track not only achieved six-times platinum status in the United States but also became the most Shazamed song worldwide, making Tones and I the first female artist to surpass 2 billion streams on Spotify with a single release. Her unique vocal style and clever songwriting set her apart as a fresh voice in contemporary pop.

Following this success, her debut EP, "The Kids Are Coming" (2019), entered the top 30 of the Billboard 200 and earned Gold certification, while her first full-length album, "Welcome to the Madhouse" (2021), debuted at number one on the Australian Albums Chart.
