About Slomosa

Emerging from the rugged western coast of Norway, Slomosa has swiftly carved out a distinct niche in the modern heavy rock landscape with their signature "Tundra Rock" sound. The band’s lineup—Benjamin Berdous on guitar and vocals, Marie Moe on bass and vocals, Tor Erik Bye on guitar, and Jard Hole on drums—melds the groove-heavy riffs and raw melodic intensity of stoner rock pioneers like Kyuss, Elder, and Black Sabbath with their own powerful, thunderous energy. Since releasing their self-titled debut album in 2020, Slomosa has gained international acclaim for their electrifying live shows, headlining renowned festivals such as Hell Fest, Freak Valley, and Bergen Fest. Their 2023 single "Cabin Fever" exemplifies their gritty storytelling and soaring guitar work, building anticipation for their upcoming sophomore album. Expanding their global footprint, the band toured the United States in 2024 alongside Alkaline Trio and is set to open for Helmet in 2025. Honored with the prestigious Spellemannprisen in the rock category, Slomosa continues to deliver visceral, groove-laden rock anthems that resonate long after the final chord, firmly establishing themselves as leading torchbearers of contemporary heavy music.
