About No Quiero

No Quiero is a dynamic rock band that emerged from Bilbao’s thriving music scene in 2020. Founded by seasoned music and audiovisual professionals Alberto Macías (guitar), Antón Uribe (vocals and keyboards), and Gaby Salaverry (lead vocals), the trio set out to merge their artistic talents into a bold and innovative project. Their debut album, *Monterey* (2021), made an immediate impact by featuring eight singles, each paired with cinematic, short-film style music videos—an approach that showcased their commitment to blending compelling audio and visual storytelling.

Building on this creative momentum, No Quiero released a series of striking singles in 2024, including "Toma de Control," "Amarillo," "Sexy Jane," and "Esos años." These tracks, accompanied by visually arresting videos, served as a teaser for their highly anticipated second album, slated for release in September 2025. That same year, the band expanded their live lineup, welcoming Blas Fernández on drums, Javi Quintana on guitar, and Mario Gutiérrez on bass. This fuller ensemble enhanced their stage presence and earned accolades from prominent music outlets such as Mondo Sonoro, Ruta66, and Mariskal Rock. No Quiero is also poised to make their festival debut, further cementing their place in the contemporary rock landscape.

At its core, No Quiero channels a spirit of rebellion and authenticity, encouraging listeners to embrace their true selves, chase their dreams relentlessly, and stand up for what they love—anthems that resonate across generations and ensure their enduring appeal.
