About Paula Cazenave

Paula Cazenave is a distinguished DJ and producer in the global techno scene, originally from San Sebastián-Donostia in northern Spain and based in Barcelona since 2003. Her career began in the late 1990s, and she quickly established herself with dynamic performances at top-tier festivals and venues throughout Spain, Europe, and South America, including Awakenings, DGTL, Brunch in the Park, Dreambeach, and Aquasella. Renowned for her authentic, old-school DJ technique, Paula’s sets showcase rapid, precise mixing and an eclectic, versatile sound that transcends traditional sub-genre boundaries within techno.

Her journey as a producer started in the mid-2000s with vinyl releases that expanded her international reach. She has worked both solo and in collaboration with A.Professor, adopting aliases such as Daisychain and Secret Labz. These projects supported her rise to prominence, enabling extensive European tours and higher-profile festival slots.

In 2017, Paula Cazenave founded the Combine Audio label, which has become a respected force within the national and international techno community. Through this platform, she has promoted releases by influential artists like Ben Sims, Ken Ishii, DJ Shufflemaster, Patrik Skoog, and Gayle San, alongside emerging talents worldwide. Paula Cazenave continues to shape the techno landscape through her enduring commitment to innovation, authentic expression, and vibrant live performances.
