About Oscar and the Wolf

Oscar and the Wolf is the artistic project of Belgian musician Max Colombie, who has carved a unique space in contemporary music by blending pop, R&B, EDM, and alternative sounds into a distinct style he calls "Disney music for adults." Emerging around 2010, Max gained widespread recognition with his 2014 debut album, "Entity," which showcased his ability to fuse introspective folk and dream pop elements with catchy, modern rhythms.

Over the years, Oscar and the Wolf’s sound has evolved dramatically. The 2017 album "Infinity" embraced vibrant synth-pop and dancefloor-ready beats, while 2022’s "The Shimmer" further refined this luminous, atmospheric palette. Max’s magnetic live performances, characterized by emotionally raw delivery paired with visually stunning shows, have earned him spots at major European festivals such as Pukkelpop and Tomorrowland, amplifying his growing international following.

Beyond music, Max has crossed creative borders through collaborations with renowned fashion designer Dries Van Noten, crafting immersive sound experiences beyond traditional stages. In 2023, Oscar and the Wolf returned with the powerful single "Warrior," chosen as the official anthem for Belgium's National team during the World Cup.
