About Glowsun

Glowsun is a Northern European stoner rock trio that first emerged in 1997, though their definitive lineup took shape in 2005 with the release of their debut four-track EP, "Lost Love." This initial offering quickly attracted the attention of Belgian label Buzzville Records, which subsequently released their full-length debut album, "The Sundering." Marking their arrival on the stoner and psychedelic rock stage, the album showcased a compelling fusion of heavy riffs and cosmic atmospheres.

Building on this foundation, Glowsun’s sophomore album, "Eternal Season" (2012), released through Austria’s Napalm Records, elevated their status within the European underground music scene. The album was praised for its expanding sonic depth and helped the band secure a reputation as one of the continent’s premier stoner rock acts. Their relentless touring schedule led them to headline major festivals such as UpInSmoke, DesertFest in London, Berlin, and Antwerp, Hungary’s DunaJam, as well as France’s HellFest (2015) and Motocultor (2017).

In 2015, Glowsun released their third studio album, "Beyond the Wall of Time," also on Napalm Records, further affirming their skillful blending of hypnotic grooves, psychedelic textures, and crushing riffs. With a career spanning over two decades, Glowsun stands as a key influence and enduring presence in Europe’s stoner and psychedelic rock community.
