About Julia Cry

Julia Cry has swiftly risen as one of Spain’s most promising voices in urban music, transforming from a bedroom songwriter to a festival headliner within just two years. Her early breakthrough came with commanding performances at major events like Hermosa Fest, Festival Boca, Fun Futura Fest, and FMS. She also clinched victory at the highly competitive Reyes de La Plaza national contest, surpassing more than 8,000 contestants.

At just 20 years old, Julia Cry released her debut EP, *Elemental* (2022), a four-track showcase of remarkable compositional depth and maturity. Her sound is a vibrant fusion of urban beats, Afro rhythms, flamenco, and jazz influences, creating an eclectic yet accessible style. Singles such as "Sin Ti," "City," "En la escuela," and "Me he equivocado de camino" quickly gained traction, amassing over 1.5 million streams across digital platforms.

Her artistic evolution continued with the release of her first full-length album, *Insisto* (2024), which solidified her distinct voice in the genre. That year, Julia Cry also participated in RTVE’s urban music talent show *FEAT*, highlighting emerging stars. Her relentless authenticity and growth were recognized at the Premios Yepes de la Música de la Región de Murcia, where she earned Best Emerging Artist and Best Urban Album for *Insisto* in 2024, marking a significant milestone in her already meteoric career.
