About Larry Cadge

London-born Larry Cadge has been a vital force in the electronic music scene since launching his DJ career in 1989. Growing up in a musically enriched household—his mother was a pianist—Cadge developed a deep appreciation for a wide range of styles. This diverse background shaped his unique sound, which seamlessly blends old-school disco-house grooves with contemporary tech-house energy. His influences include soul legends like Marvin Gaye and Curtis Mayfield, jazz innovators such as Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock, and electronic pioneer Manuel Göttsching. These inspirations converge in Cadge’s productions, characterized by funk-driven rhythms, infectious melodies, and a polished, dancefloor-focused edge.

In 2010, Larry Cadge founded Smiley Fingers, an independent London-based label committed to championing house and techno music on a global scale. His breakthrough moment came with the 2014 single "Vicious Circle," which stayed in Beatport’s Tech House Top 10 for over two months. The track earned a place among Beatport’s Best of 2014 Tech House Tracks, propelled Cadge to #39 on the platform’s Best Tech House Artists list that year, and attracted more than 25,000 Shazam searches worldwide. With a loyal following exceeding 20,000 fans, Larry Cadge remains a respected and innovative figure whose genre-defying productions continue to energize the international electronic music community.
