About Old Crow Medicine Show

Old Crow Medicine Show burst onto the Americana scene in 1998, beginning their journey as street performers traveling across New York and Canada. Known for their infectious energy and authentic folk spirit, the band caught a pivotal break in Boone, North Carolina. There, legendary folk musician Doc Watson discovered them playing outside a pharmacy and invited them to perform at MerleFest, a move that propelled them into the spotlight. Over more than two decades, Old Crow Medicine Show has become a cornerstone of American roots music, blending folk, bluegrass, and alternative country with a contemporary edge.

Their breakthrough hit, "Wagon Wheel," has achieved remarkable success, earning Double-Platinum status by 2019 after selling over two million copies. The band’s debut album, "O.C.M.S." (2004), also earned Gold certification, reinforcing their standing in the music industry. Old Crow Medicine Show’s exceptional storytelling and dedication to traditional sounds have earned them two Grammy Awards: Best Long Form Music Video for "Big Easy Express" (2013) and Best Folk Album for "Remedy" (2014). They were also inducted into the esteemed Grand Ole Opry, further solidifying their influence in the genre.

In 2023, the group released "Jubilee" through ATO Records, continuing to showcase their signature blend of roots music infused with fresh vitality. Old Crow Medicine Show remains a vital force in Americana, celebrated for preserving and innovating the timeless traditions of American folk music.
