About MORTEN

Danish electronic music producer and DJ MORTEN, born Morten Breum in 1982, began his career as a teenage DJ in Aarhus before relocating to Los Angeles, where he solidified his place in the global electronic dance music scene. Known for his innovative fusion of deep progressive house with dubstep, MORTEN has developed a distinctive sound that resonates in large arenas and festivals worldwide. His breakthrough came in 2009 with the platinum-certified single "Drop!" released via PRMD and Ultra Records, which dominated the Danish charts and established him as a rising star.

Over the years, MORTEN has built an impressive catalogue characterized by energetic, progressive anthems such as "86 Degrees" and "Stick Up," the latter featuring actress and vocalist Juliette Lewis. He has collaborated with a range of notable artists, including electro-pop singer Frida Sundemo on the emotionally vibrant track "Beautiful Heartbeat" (2016), Steve Aoki on the hit "Kids," and Jamaican dancehall artist Mr. Vegas on "Love." His 2017 releases, including "Coffee Can Money," "TTFU," and "Keep Me from You" with ODA, further showcase his evolving artistry and ability to blend genres seamlessly.
