About Blue Salt

Blue Salt is a French indie rock band that has quickly distinguished itself through a distinctive DIY ethos and a warmly authentic sound. Formed by Ogier and Lana, who share vocal and guitar duties, alongside Malo on bass and Nathan on drums, the group creates an evocative blend of dreamy melodies, fuzzy guitar riffs, and raw emotional honesty. Their music evokes a nostalgic yet sun-drenched atmosphere, skillfully balancing youthful energy with tenderness.

Working from a converted bedroom studio, Blue Salt self-produced their early EPs, *Sunny Drive* (2022) and *Soundboy* (2024), primarily using GarageBand. These releases laid the foundation for their evolving artistic identity and garnered attention for their heartfelt, unpolished charm. Influenced by contemporary acts such as Royel Otis, Wet Leg, and The 1975, Blue Salt’s music resonates with fans seeking sincerity wrapped in catchy indie rock hooks.

Their latest EP, *You Met Me at a Very Strange Time in My Life*, marks a maturation in their sound while staying true to their core DIY spirit. Available across streaming platforms and on CD, this release further solidifies Blue Salt’s presence in the French indie rock scene as a compelling voice bridging introspection and vibrant youthful passion.
