Double Trouble is a vibrant rap duo from Mombasa, Kenya, known for their authentic street narratives and fresh urban sound that have cemented their place in East African hip hop. They rose to prominence in 2020 with their breakthrough single, "Hainaga Error," which quickly captured the attention of fans across the region. Building on this momentum, Double Trouble delivered a string of hits including "Ngwata," "Smoke," and the energetic "Whap Whap Remix," each showcasing their lyrical versatility and connection to the youth culture of Mombasa.

Their collaborative efforts have played a key role in amplifying their reach. Notably, partnerships with Buruklyn Boyz, Big Yasa, and Young NC from Kisauni earned them the prestigious Collaboration of the Year award, reflecting their strength in uniting East Africa’s hip hop community. Internationally, their presence expanded through featured verses on an album by Stunna TNG, taking the sounds of Mombasa’s streets to a global audience.
