About La Paloma

La Paloma is a compelling noise rock band hailing from Madrid’s vibrant Tetuán neighborhood. Emerging onto the scene with a gritty, guitar-driven sound, they quickly gained attention after releasing their debut EP in late 2021 through La Castanya Records. This five-track collection, featuring standout songs like “Bravo Murillo” and “Palos,” struck a chord with fans drawn to its raw energy and introspective, existential themes. These early successes transformed La Paloma from a local secret into a significant force within Spain’s underground music scene.

Building on this foundation, La Paloma released their first full-length album, "Todavía no" (2023), a record that marks a defining moment in their artistic journey. The album deepens their signature noise rock ethos while exploring new sonic territories. Anchored by a tight rhythm section and the dynamic vocal interplay between Nico and Lucas, "Todavía no" showcases the band’s maturity and creative growth. Their lyrics skillfully navigate skepticism and disillusionment, offering candid emotional depth that resonates broadly.

Despite the album’s title translating to “not yet,” La Paloma’s momentum affirms that their time to shine is unmistakably now. With a distinctive voice in contemporary Spanish rock, the band continues to captivate audiences with their honest, powerful sound and thoughtful songwriting.
