About Nina Maia

Nina Maia is a versatile singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, and producer from São Paulo who has carved a distinctive place in Brazil’s contemporary music landscape. Before embarking on her solo career, she contributed to the soundtracks of six Brazilian feature films, most notably delivering a powerful rendition of "I Will Survive" alongside renowned artists Maria Gadú, Iza, and Liniker for the 2018 movie *Todas as Canções de Amor*. Her collaborative spirit was also evident in 2017 when she co-wrote songs for singer-songwriter Tiê’s album *Gaya*.

Nina Maia launched her solo career in 2021 with the single "De Dentro," co-produced with Lúcio Maia of Nação Zumbi. This marked the beginning of a unique sound that blends jazz, Música Popular Brasileira (MPB), and indie pop, showcasing her ability to fuse traditional and contemporary influences seamlessly. Subsequent singles like "Gosto Meio Doce," created with friend Francisca Barreto, and "SUA" further defined her evolving artistry. In early 2024, she released the evocative track "AMARGO," building anticipation ahead of her debut album, *INTEIRA*, unveiled in November and co-produced with Yann Dardenne.
