About Yumi and the Weather

Brighton-based musician and producer Yumi and the Weather emerged in 2013 with the critically acclaimed EP *All We Can*, quickly establishing herself as a distinctive voice in the UK’s alternative music scene. Blending vibrant psych-pop with rich textures of garage rock, shoegaze, indie, and electronic music, she crafts immersive soundscapes that feel both fresh and nostalgically evocative. Her dynamic approach fuses electrifying melodies with layered production, showcasing her dual talents as a songwriter and producer.

Yumi and the Weather’s music stands out for its colorful, genre-blurring style that appeals to fans of experimental pop and alternative rock alike. Over the years, she has continually refined her sound, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining emotional depth and sonic richness. This commitment to originality and bold musical exploration has earned her growing critical acclaim and a dedicated fanbase.

Known for delivering tracks that are as visually evocative as they are sonically engaging, Yumi and the Weather remains a compelling presence in contemporary British music. Her ability to weave diverse influences into cohesive, emotionally resonant work cements her reputation as a standout artist who consistently evolves while staying true to her unique artistic vision.
