About Goa '98

Goa '98 is a self-taught electronic musician who emerged from the vibrant shores of Anjuna, Goa, nurturing a deep passion for underground sounds from an early age. Drawing heavily from the late 1990s and early 2000s ambient and electronic pioneers like LTJ Bukem, The Orb, Future Sound of London, Laurent Garnier, and The Crystal Method, he has crafted a distinctive Deep Progressive House style. His music blends hypnotic atmospheric layers with dynamic grooves, designed to captivate dance floors globally while evoking a sense of nostalgia fused with modern forward-thinking production.

Goa '98 gained notable acclaim with the 2023 EP "Aeris," which topped Beatport’s Progressive Releases chart and secured a top ten position across the platform’s overall cross-genre rankings. His growing influence is underscored by collaborations and shared stage performances alongside respected artists such as Guy J, Eelke Kleijn, Rodriguez Jr., Ezequiel Arias, and Tim Green. Known for his immersive tracks and compelling live sets, Goa '98 continually pushes the boundaries of Deep Progressive House, resonating with electronic music enthusiasts worldwide and solidifying his reputation within the global electronic music scene.
