About Helmut Fritz

Helmut Fritz is the vibrant stage persona of Eric Greff, a talented French singer, songwriter, producer, and artistic director originating from Forbach, Moselle. He skyrocketed to fame in 2009 with his catchy and satirical single "Ça m’énerve," which sold over 700,000 copies and dominated European music charts. This breakthrough hit introduced audiences to his distinctive blend of quirky humor and infectious electronic beats, firmly establishing Helmut Fritz as a notable presence in the French pop landscape.

Over the course of five dynamic years, Greff brought Helmut Fritz to life through two full-length albums, twelve singles, ten music videos, and nearly 200 energetic concerts spanning six countries. After a seven-year hiatus, Helmut Fritz returned in 2020 with a refreshed version of his signature track titled "Ça m’énerve 2020," marking the beginning of a new creative phase.

Building on this revival, Helmut Fritz unveiled plans for the EP *STEM*, a title inspired by a skiing technique symbolizing precision and reinvention. This project was heralded by the release of "COOL," a French touch house single that highlights his evolving sound while maintaining his trademark wit and charisma. With his enduring appeal and innovative fusion of theatrical flair and electronic pop, Helmut Fritz continues to captivate audiences and maintain his unique voice within contemporary European music.
