About Kanine

Emerging from Strasbourg, France in early 2020, Kanine quickly established themselves as a formidable force within the slam deathcore scene. Drawing heavy inspiration from influential bands like Chelsea Grin and Distant, Kanine crafts a sound defined by relentless breakdowns, punishing beatdowns, slam sections, and innovative bass drops. Their debut release, *Karnage* (2020), marked a powerful introduction, showcasing the band’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of extreme metal while delivering the bone-crushing intensity that fans of the genre crave.

What sets Kanine apart is their ability to blend raw aggression with intricate songwriting and sonic experimentation, going beyond traditional slam deathcore conventions. Their music combines groove-laden slams and devastating heaviness with technical precision, creating a visceral and dynamic listening experience. As they continue to evolve, Kanine’s energetic and inventive approach solidifies their place in the European deathcore landscape, making them a noteworthy and enduring presence for audiences seeking uncompromising heaviness fused with fresh ideas.
