About Pergo

Pergo is a rising force in the contemporary European techno scene, known for his dynamic DJ sets and precise production. Based in Madrid, he has built a strong presence across major cities such as Berlin, Barcelona, Budapest, Belgium, and Poland. Deeply influenced by the vibrant energy of the dancefloor, Pergo draws creative inspiration from seminal artists like Héctor Oaks, DJ Stingray, Luke Slater, and Helena Hauff, while paying homage to techno pioneers including DJ Rush, Thomas P. Heckmann, and Takaaki Itoh. His sound skillfully blends hardgroove, rave, and 90s techno elements with the fresh innovations of current trailblazers like Regal and Herrensauna.

Pergo’s affinity for vinyl and commitment to authenticity manifest in his exclusive use of Technics turntables, delivering sets that fuse tactile precision with instinctive flow. This approach is strongly informed by his admiration for Germany’s influential club culture, particularly the legendary Tresor venue. His musical palette embraces the spirit of iconic labels such as Hidraulix, Stay Up Forever, Heros, Tresor, and Bound, while reflecting the influence of artists like Glenn Wilson, Lars Klein, DJ Ogi, Ryuji Takeuchi, and Miss Djax.

Through a unique combination of intense rhythms, vocal textures, and melodic interludes, Pergo crafts immersive journeys that defy predictability. His distinctive vinyl-driven style and commanding stage presence position him as a promising figure whose impact will continue to resonate within the global techno landscape.
