About Marvin Humes

Marvin Humes, a South London-born DJ, producer, and broadcaster, has crafted a remarkable career in the music industry spanning over two decades. Inspired from a young age by legendary figures like Todd Terry, Frankie Knuckles, and Masters at Work—and nurtured by his DJ father who introduced him to the vibrant world of electronic music—Humes developed a deep-rooted passion for dance culture early on. He rose to wider prominence as a founding member of the electronic dance trio LuvBug, collaborating with producers White N3rd and JKAY to score UK Top 20 hits including "Resonance" (2015) and "Revive" (2016).

Beyond his work in production, Marvin has built a strong presence in radio broadcasting. He currently hosts the weekday show on KISS’s Kisstory, where he curates classic dance anthems and old-school tracks, cementing his reputation as a tastemaker in the UK’s electronic music scene. As a DJ, Marvin Humes has performed on renowned stages across the UK and internationally, including iconic Ibiza venues like Pacha, Hï, Ushuaia, and Ibiza Rocks. Sharing billing with top artists such as Joel Corry, Nathan Dawe, and Martin Solveig, he continues to deliver dynamic live sets that resonate with audiences worldwide.

In 2024, Marvin remains a key figure in contemporary dance music, headlining major events like the Ocean Beach Club series. His blend of production, DJing, and broadcasting showcases his enduring influence and passion for the evolving electronic soundscape.
