About Caribou

Caribou is the stage name of Canadian musician Dan Snaith, a pioneering force in electronic and experimental music. Originating from Dundas, Ontario, Snaith’s academic background spans the University of Toronto and Imperial College London, shaping his precise and innovative approach to sound design. Under the Caribou moniker, he masterfully blends elements of techno, folktronica, psychedelic influences, and shoegaze, creating rich, emotive soundscapes that push the boundaries of intelligent dance music.

Snaith’s critically acclaimed albums, such as "Swim" (2010) and "Our Love" (2014), have earned him prestigious honors including the Polaris Music Prize and multiple Juno Awards for Electronic Album of the Year.
