About Daniel Diges

Daniel Diges, born on January 17, 1981, in Alcalá de Henares, Madrid, is a versatile Spanish pop singer and actor, renowned for his dynamic presence in both music and theatre. He first gained widespread recognition as Gato in the teen telenovela *Nada Es Para Siempre* (1999–2000), before expanding his acting career with roles in popular Spanish TV series such as *Hospital Central*, *Aquí No Hay Quien Viva*, and *Max Clan*.

Transitioning seamlessly into musical theatre during the mid-2000s, Diges showcased his talents in celebrated Spanish productions like *Hoy No Me Puedo Levantar*, *We Will Rock You*, *High School Musical*, and *Mamma Mia!*, earning acclaim for his strong vocal and piano skills.

Daniel Diges’s breakthrough as a pop artist came with his participation in the reality competition *Eurovisión: Destino Oslo* in 2010, where he won the chance to represent Spain at the Eurovision Song Contest with the evocative single "Algo Pequeñito." His heartfelt performance in Oslo secured a respectable 15th place and established him firmly in the Spanish music scene. That same year, he released his self-titled debut album through Warner Music, featuring a mix of original songs and covers from artists like Billy Joel, Michael Bublé, and Robbie Williams. The album reached the Top Ten on Spain’s charts, while "Algo Pequeñito" climbed into the Top Five singles, cementing Daniel Diges’s reputation as a gifted singer-songwriter and entertainer.
