About Stavroz

Stavroz is a Belgian electronic music collective that emerged in 2011, founded by DJs, musicians, and sound engineers IJsbrand and Gert. Soon after, Maxim and Pieter joined the project, solidifying the group as a four-piece ensemble known for their distinctive fusion of ethnic, acoustic, and organic elements with contemporary electronic production. This unique blend crafts immersive, cinematic soundscapes that invite listeners on rich, emotive journeys—often evoking dreamlike atmospheres that blur the lines between reality and imagination.

Over the years, Stavroz has built an impressive discography releasing music on renowned labels such as Kindisch, Laut & Luise, Delicieuse, and Bedrock, alongside their own Ghent-based imprint, Moodfamily. Their breakthrough track, "Talabout," showcases their signature ability to transport audiences to surreal sonic realms. More recently, the 2023 *Gold Town* EP highlights their artistic evolution, intertwining Eastern and Western musical influences to create narratives filled with drama, melancholy, and resolve.

Renowned for their intimate live performances and eclectic DJ sets, Stavroz has gained international acclaim, frequently touring worldwide and captivating audiences with their innovative approach.
