About Dinosaur Pile-Up

Dinosaur Pile-Up is a British alternative rock trio that emerged from Leeds in 2007, quickly carving out a dedicated global following with their powerful live shows and distinctive blend of post-grunge, alternative rock, and pop-punk influences. Fronted by Matt Bigland, the band has shared stages with renowned rock acts such as The Offspring, Weezer, and Sum 41, while captivating audiences at major festivals around the world. Their 2019 album, "Celebrity Mansions," marked a significant breakthrough, elevating their international profile and solidifying their reputation in the contemporary rock scene.

However, just as their momentum was peaking, Bigland faced a serious health crisis that led to two hospitalizations, profoundly impacting both his life and the band's trajectory. This challenging period inspired Dinosaur Pile-Up’s 2024 release, "I’ve Felt Better," a deeply personal record launched via Mascot Records. Spanning twelve tracks, the album channels five years of intense emotion—ranging from despair and vulnerability to resilience and hope—capturing the raw energy and heartfelt honesty that define the band’s sound. More than just a comeback, "I’ve Felt Better" reaffirms Dinosaur Pile-Up’s commitment to their craft and highlights why the Leeds trio remains one of the UK’s most beloved alternative rock outfits to date.
