About Evita Polidoro

Evita Polidoro is an innovative drummer and vocalist celebrated for her seamless versatility across jazz, rock, and pop genres. Gaining recognition through her dynamic collaborations, she has played alongside jazz luminaries such as trumpeter Enrico Rava in his acclaimed quintet Fearless Five, and lent her rhythmic mastery to Dee Dee Bridgewater’s European quartet. Beyond the jazz scene, Polidoro’s adaptability shines through her touring work with pop artist Francesca Michielin, highlighting her broad musical appeal.

In 2024, Evita Polidoro made a definitive leap as a bandleader with the release of her debut album, "Nerovivo," on Paolo Fresu’s prestigious Tûk Music label. The record showcases her unique fusion of post-rock atmospheres, ambient electronics, and experimental jazz, heralding a fresh sonic direction. Collaborating with guitarists Ruggero Fornari, Davide Strangio, and Antonio Falanga, she crafts an inventive soundscape that pushes musical boundaries. Additionally, as the founder of the Roman band COME ON, DIE, Polidoro continues to explore and expand her artistic horizons, delivering energetic performances and new singles that reflect her vibrant stage presence.
