About Floral Image

Floral Image is a vibrant psychedelic rock band emerging from Norwich on the UK’s East Coast, quickly gaining recognition through their dynamic and textured sound. Founded by Fergus Nolan (vocals, guitars), Jack Warner (vocals, keys), Matt Kennedy (bass), Mitch Forsyth (drums, visuals), and Phil Whitton (guitars, visuals), the five-piece ensemble expertly blends playful mischief with immersive, dreamy atmospheres. Their music moves fluidly between intense, high-energy passages and serene, ambient soundscapes, creating a captivating balance of fire and delicacy that has become their signature.

In 2025, Floral Image released their debut album, "Gone Down Meadowland," on the respected Fuzz Club label. Self-produced and shaped with mixing by Hugh Fothergill (Volleyball) and mastering by Joseph Carra—renowned for his work with King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard—the album presents a richly layered, evolving artistic statement. Its organic, unstructured approach allows tracks to ebb and flow naturally between contrasts of dark and light, malaise and exhilaration.

Following the album release, Floral Image embarked on an extensive European and UK tour in May 2025, captivating audiences with their immersive live performances that translate their studio textures into a vivid, sensory experience. Their combination of sophisticated psychedelic rock and adventurous creativity continues to establish them as a compelling force within the contemporary psychedelic scene, promising a lasting impact on the genre.
